It’s jacaranda season here in Sydney! Family photos during jacaranda season are some of my favourite shoots to look back on. With all the purple petals dotting the grass and trees, what’s not to love?
Spring time is always perfect for family photos – it’s not too hot, the sun is shining and the flowers are blooming. The purple jacaranda flowers are particularly striking as a backdrop for family portraits. They really pop in the background, and bring a unique colour compared to the usual pink and reds.
You might have seen family or friends on Instagram or Facebook traipsing around NSW trying to catch these jacaranda trees in bloom before they leave for the season. As such, trying to avoid the crowds to capture some family photos during jacaranda season can be tricky, so it’s always a goldmine when we can grab shots like these!
