Happy Easter !!!

I meet the Bride & Groom the first time today, they live in Queensland, they booked me via email. Thank you for trusting me. The day started at Rydges Cronulla where the bride was getting ready. The church ceremony was at the lovely St Phillips Church on York St Sydney CBD. After the church service we captured some images around Observatory Hill, Rocks and Sydney CBD. The bridal cars was by “Roll up in a Rolls” The reception was at L’Aqua - The Terrace Room at Cockle Bay.

The day finally arrived, I was there to document Ed & Thy’s wedding. I have been friends with Ed since high school and also he had a helping hand in my early photography business setup, Thank You buddy ! So when it was his time to get hitched he asked if I could document his wedding in Vietnam = YES :-)

Capturing this wedding was abit different for me, I completely let the local videographer take control since he new the local traditions/customs.

Enjoy the images Ed & Thy !

The Mekong Delta is the southernmost region of Vietnam and the rice bowl of the country. Traditional transportation is by boat, along a vast network of canals. We went on a day trip to the Cai Be floating market and its surrounding areas. We also stopped by at some local families to see some of there culture.

There was a few objectives for this trip.

1. Holiday

2. See and discover where i used to live for my first 5 years.

3. Attend my mates wedding and capture it.

We landed in Ho Chi Minh City at around 7pm and we joined up with the Ed & Thy and headed straight out to dinner at the local markets. For the next few days we explore many local places and ate many different types of Vietnamese food. We also visited the Mekong Delta. The highlight of the trip was the wedding on Sunday 16th. Here are some initial pics with my little Fuji :-) More images to come….
