Archive for February, 2008

  • I have been sick for a few days now :-( BUT I will be ready for Sundays wedding.
  • I got myself a new P&S camera - Fujifilm F40fd, can’t wait to use it at a my next wedding ;) What I love about my new P&S is the auto “Face Detection” feature.
  • March, October & November 2008 is fully booked. If you like my style, you can still email me and I can refer you to fellow AIPP photographers that have a similar style to myself.
  • Check out Milton’s Blog face lift. A few clients have been asking me who is Milton? He is my younger brother, studying IT at UTS and working in IT Programming and Application Development. He also loves photography, I trained him ;) so on the weekends he helps me out, it is a BONUS when he is available.

What a great night having dinner and drinks with all my mates. The day started at 5pm meeting at Lidcombe Dooleys Catholic Club for drinks :-) We all caught a train to Sydney CBD for a nice dinner at East Ocean Chinese Restaurant in Chinatown. Food was yummy but serving was small and abit expensive. After dinner we started the pub crawl towards Star City Casino. At Star City we had a few more drink and bets before we headed back to Dooleys for more drinks :-) The bucks was still standing at the end of the night (morning)…..he had a alcohol reading of over 0.1 ! My alcohol reading was also over the 0.05 mark too, but I can still operate my little P&S camera ;-) It was a great night with great friends.

It was a week of rain in Sydney. I must have some luck on my side with the weather :) It stopped raining when it was time for pics. The wedding ceremony was at the lovely Araluen House - The Chapel. After the ceremony everyone headed over to Araluen House for a lunchtime reception. After the reception we headed to Northbridge, McMahons Point and Vaucluse for some pics. Hair & makeup was by Phoebe Dawson No wedding cake today so no cake image :( Enjoy the images. Leave me a comment :)

Kung Hei Fat Choy !! Happy Chinese New Year !!

Traditionally red packets (envelopes) or “Lai Si” with $$ inside :-) are handed out to younger generation by their parents, grand parents, relatives and friends during Chinese New Year. They are also popular gifts for weddings and birthdays. We also get red packets occasionally at asian wedding :-)

Welcome all to the Year of the Rat. Being the first sign of the Chinese zodiacs, rats are leaders, pioneers and conquerors.

Wishing all my friends, family and clients a prosperous and healthy year ahead.

Todays couple is a referral from a wedding I captured on the 2nd Dec 2006, thank you :-) Weather today was perfect for pics, except for the sudden rain after the wedding ceremony at the Balmoral Beach Rotunda. We still managed to capture some relaxed portraits in the rain. After Balmoral Beach we headed to North Sydney and then to Sydney CBD for more pics. The reception was at the lovely Westin Hotel at No. 1 Martin Place. Hair and Makeup was by Simona Janek. The wedding car was supplied by 7th Heaven.

Enjoy the images and leave a comment so I know who looks at my blog :-)
