It was our second wedding for this weekend, only had 5 hours sleep :(

Today we drove the B&G around for the formals :) I went to uni with the B&G. What was different today was we got the formals all done before the church service and reception. We walked around the University of Sydney capturing some Simple Informal & Relaxed images :) The service was at St James Church @ Glebe and the reception was a relaxed affair at the Lion Gate Lodge in the Sydney Botanical Gardens.

Todays wedding was special, we captured the brides brothers wedding in Sept 2006 :)

Parking in the Sydney CBD is always a problem, the great thing was we did not have to drive today, we traveled around the CBD in a 14 person stretch limo with the whole bridal party. The bridal prep was at the Four Season Hotel at The Rocks and the ceremony was at The Garrison Church at Millers Point. After the service we headed to the Wildfire Restaurant for some drinks and finger food. The reception was at L’Aqua located at Cockle Bay Wharf. Bridal makeup today was by Nicky Schnitzer (nickyschnitzer@yahoo.com.au). The night ended with night shots around Park Hyatt Hotel at The Rocks.

It was great today because I did not have to drive :) Milton did all the driving. It was cold and windy today :( B&G are from Western Australia - both medical doctors. Groom is originally from Mauritius and Bride is from Malaysia. Preparation was at Waldorf Randwick furnished apartments and the church service was at the Regina Coeli Catholic Church in Beverly Hills. After the service we capture images around Sydney CBD and follewed by the reception at Sky Phoenix Chinese Restaurant at Sky Garden. Makeup today was b Somethingbeautiful by Heidi and the videography was by the lovely Sarah & Anthony from Fourleaffilms. Thank you B&G for letting Milton & I to be part of your special day.

It is going to be a very busy spring :) What a great day ! B&G was so simple informal and relaxed. They even drove their own Merc convertible wedding car. It was one of those long 13 hour weddings. The day started at the Bride’s home with the tea ceremony followed by the groom’s home with another tea ceremony and lunch. After the Vietnamese Tea Ceremonies we headed to Lake Parramatta Reserve and Oatlands House for some quick photos. The official civil ceremony was held at Oatlands House and conducted by Civil Marriage Celebrant Charyl Walsh. After the civil ceremony it was straight into the Garden Suite for a 10 course chinese banquet. Videography today was by Arian Film Productions. Enjoy the pics - feel free to write in my new comments section :)

Woohooooo our first spring wedding. The weather was not so great today, but we were lucky the wedding was not in the Sydney CBD with the APEC long weekend. The couple was a referral from a previous couple. They booked me 10 months in advance, thanks guys :) The day started at the B&G’s place with some prep images followed my some formals around Stanhope Gardens, Kellyville Ridge and also the grounds of Cropley House. The ceremony was conducted by Civil Marriage Celebrant Greg Coss at Cropley House in Baulkham Hills. Thank you for the great food :) Here are some images for you guys to check out at Sydney airport :) Have a great time overseas !

ps. you probably notice I have place a copyright symbol and my name “© Vincent Lai ” on different part of the images above. This is because last week I discovered that another wedding photographer was using my images on there website as there own :( I won’t go into any further details since after writing an email to them, they have removed the images off there website. A big thank you goes to a fellow AIPP photographer for discovering it.
