Todays Sydney Harbour Cruise Wedding was on the “Bennelong“. We boarded the boat at Greenwich with B&G and picked up all the guests at King St Wharf. It was a very Simple Informal & Relaxed wedding.

It was very hot today! B&G was a referral from a previous client (see my first blog enter). We started at the brides place at Leichhardt capturing some prep images. The ceremony was at the Hunter Baillie Pres. Church at Annandale. After the ceremony we went around the CBD for some relaxed formals. The reception was held at the old Lord Nelson Brewery Hotel Brasserie located at The Rocks.

Simple details captured by Milton with my new camera :)

Candid moment as the dress is getting done up.

It is quarter to three and the bride is running late.

Last minute prep.

The service, captured by Milton at the back of the Church.

It was a difficult church to photograph today, very dark inside, very high ceiling, no movement was allowed during the service and no direct flash. But It was funny how the guests was using their little cameras with direct flash during ceremony :) How many guests can you see holding up their cameras ?

I love the lines in this image

It sure was a long day, todays wedding starting at 5:30am and finished at 11:30pm. We captured the B&G’s E-session last year on Boxing Day, and a Picture Book was designed for them to be used as a Guest Book at the reception. Since we captured their e-session last year, they new exactly what our style was. Milton and I had 100% freedom to document the wedding as observers, only a very few family group images was captured for the older generations. The day started at the brides place capturing hair and makeup prep. Hair was by Dearne’s Hair & Beauty . Two Tradition Chinese Tea Ceremony was performed, one at the brides place and one at the grooms place. After the tradition events, we were off to the Chinese Garden at Darling Harbour for a lovely civil ceremony. The ceremony was held at the “Hall of Longevity & Dragon Wall” with around 100 guests. After the ceremony, we captured some simple informal and relaxed candids around the garden. The reception was held at the yummy East Ocean Chinese Restaurant .

Have a great time in Melbourne B&G, see you soon.

Milton and I always tries to find great lighting, I think today we found it :-) Here are just a select few of the many great images.

Our 2nd wedding for the weekend was huge and long. It was a fun wedding, Milton and I documented the wedding as it happened. We started at 8am at the grooms place capturing the prep and then it was off to the brides place for prep, vietnamese tea ceremony and the civil ceremony. We had a 3 hour photo shoot around the CBD and La Perouse. The reception was huge with nearly 500 guests, it was held at the huge Villa Capri Reception at Cabramatta.
